Hi. I'm Natalie. And today, Veritas Health is going to show you the butterfly stretch to relieve tightness in the hips. To do this stretch, you will sit on the ground, putting the soles of your feet together. You can hold either at your ankles or at your feet. And then gently lean forward until you feel stretched to the inside of your thighs. Hold the stretch for 30 seconds.
If the stretch causes pain or worsens your symptoms, please discontinue and consult with your medical provider. You can lean as far forward as it feels comfortable during the stretch.
I recommend working your way up to performing this stretch for one to two minutes, two to three times. To learn more about how to relieve hip tightness, please visit us at Sports-health and be sure to subscribe to our channel for more videos like this. Thank you for watching.
