I'm Natalie, and today Veritas Health is going to show you an IT band stretch for snapping hip syndrome. This is a great stretch for stretching out all of the IT band and lateral structures of the hip. To do this stretch, you're going to use a chair or a wall to give yourself a little support. Place your hand on that, and then you're going to take the hip you want to stretch and put it behind and back behind your other hip.
If during this stretch this causes any new pain or increases your symptoms, please stop and consult with your medical provider.
You're then going to lean away and sink into a nice stretch throughout your lateral hip.
You can hold this position for about 30 seconds and work up to performing about three times.
